Mini-Interview w/ Bethany James
1. Give us an example of a life experience that inspired your writing.
A life experience that it inspired me to write was when I was a youth in a Pentecostal church called Zion Temple apostolic Church. I went there most of my adolescent. I learned about music, community, involvement, and love of God.
2. What’s one thing people wouldn’t know about you until you told them?
One thing people wouldn’t know at face value is that I used to refill my battery by having time with God and day dreaming as a child.
Presently, I am more open to His purpose and I learned to express myself through adulthood experiences to others without fear.
3. What’s your biggest accomplishment in your writing career?
The biggest accomplishment in my writing career was finishing college English at Fort Hays State University 🎓
I never knew that college would be a turning point for me, and I earned Freshman year membership to NSCS (National Society of Collegiate Scholars).
4. If you could go anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?
If I could go anywhere in the world, it would be Ocho Rios Jamaica and the UK.
I love water and islands. in the UK is somewhere I’ve always wanted to visit for the socialite climate!
5. How do you relax when life gets overwhelming?
how I relax when I get overwhelmed is by listening to music, writing, poetry, and spending time with God.
