Who is Breanna Atkinson?

Breanna started publishing on Amazon with her first poetry book. Branching away from poetry she began writing novels. Her writing is a self proclaimed attestant to her growth as an author. With over one hundred copies distributed from her initial jump into publishing in January of this year her biggest goal is to end the year as a best seller.
A nature lover, during the summer you will find her at the beach reading while watching over her children.
Her biggest inspirations are her husband, friends, and family. She enjoys writing and making connections through doing so and is always encouraging her readers to reach out to her and leave her reviews.
What’s up with Breanna Atkinson?
My upcoming release Phoenix Raised is a Romantasy/High fantasy. Markandeya is a kingdom ruled by ancient laws linking humans and phoenixes in a magical sibling bond. Abbigail and her phoenix Brigid are called to the Royal Landing suddenly. Amidst rising phoenix deaths, Abbigail discovers secrets that rock her world. An arranged marriage to Prince Jasper, hidden magic within herself and the addition of new friendships begin her journey. Abbigail must navigate the politics of her new role, come to terms with the hidden truths, a brewing war and embrace her fate for the survival of her kind.

- Give us an example of a life experience that inspired your writing.
An example of a life experience that inspired my writing would be when my husband and his friends all gather at our house. They have a dynamic that I personally find funny and intriguing. In Phoenix Raised, Finley, Eduard and Jasper’s friendship dynamics are based off of a specific time when his friend group gathered at our house; they had been struggling to put together some outdoor equipment and began heckling. Their way of bullying each other with pure affection for one another was both funny to witness as it was interesting to see how none of those involved took actual offense. Their strong friendship bond continues to inspire the relationships I give my characters.
2. What’s one thing people wouldn’t know about you until you told them?
A thing that people wouldn’t know about me until I told them would be that I am a multi-media artist as well. I draw, paint, partake in jewelry making, practice hand embroidery and have dabbled in photography.
3. What’s your biggest accomplishment in your writing career?
My biggest accomplishment in my writing career thus far has been getting my upcoming release offered on so many platforms. My previous publications were amazon exclusives and branching out has made me feel as if I am on the path of making it as an Indie author.
4. If you could go anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?
If I could go anywhere in the world it would be Ireland more specifically in an Irish countryside. I adore sheep and the old structures I’ve only been able to see in books and images online.
5. How do you relax when life gets overwhelming?
How I relax when life gets overwhelming is by reading, especially on the beach during the summer months while listening to the water. It is the cheapest therapy I could ever attend.
