Our marketing team looked up the history of SS and found that it was associated with something rather messy and unfortunate for a large group of people.
We’re a publishing company that wants to help people get their stories out to the world, not an organization that wants to disenfranchise and subjugate people against their will. . .
And so, we decided to change the name of our subscription service (at the request of the people) to something a lot friendlier and that more people can get behind without reservation.
