Special Note: Any review that we make on your story is totally subjective and based on how we perceive your work as a magazine. we understand how hard it is to place your writing in the public eye and subject it to scrutiny. Remember, every review is only what one entity thinks and does not determine the value of your writing. Any review, either positive or negative is subjective as there is no such thing as an objective review (and anyone that tells you different is lying). ALL reviews are based on the individual/organization and their perception of your work, nothing more.

Genres We Prefer To Read

We will typically read Fantasy, Horror, LitRPG, General Fiction and Non-fiction (particularly philosophy, social sciences, biographies and some memoirs, etc.) However, Fantasy, LitRPG, and Horror will get top priority.

We will also read self-help and how-to books as those subject matters interest us as well.

We now read Romantasy and Dark Romance in regards to us unveiling one of our latest magazines, Twisted Love Affairs.

Special Note: We now write book reviews for Romantasy and Dark Romance as well.

With that being said, feel free to send your book in!

Turnaround for Reviews

It will typically take us 4-6 weeks to review your novels (perhaps longer if it is a series).

We do our very best to give you a date your review will be complete and to plan accordingly so as to maintain the integrity of not only our word as a company but the value we pledged to give authors that trust us enough with their hard-earned dollars.

Book reviews will typically take longer if we have a large queue to read through so please bear with us, we will read and review your work!

How We Write Reviews

It will typically go like this:

1. Book Title
2. Author
3. Genre
4. Summary
5. Publisher
6. Publication Date
7. Page Count
8. Below this will be a review that’s not too lengthy but informative enough to indicate we actually read your work and to give other potential readers a good idea of what they are in store for when they read your work.
9. we will also link to ALL of your social media accounts so people know where to find you and this review will stay on the site as long as it is active.

What We Base Reviews On

1. Description and Imagery– how well the author can paint a picture and get the reader to envision what the author is trying to convey.
2. Relatability of the Main Character- how authentic the MC is relative to being a real person. The more relatable the MC is, the more invested readers get into the story.
3. Pacing- How fast or slow the story is overall along with how long it takes to get to the exciting parts.
4. Perspective- This one is a bit tricky as some stories shift perspectives, this is more of the author’s ability to keep the story consistent whether it is first person, second person, third person, etc.
5. Vibe Check- Just the overall feel of the story and whether it is something we would read again or recommend. Typically, we don’t read books more than once so that’s not the metric. we’re talking about if the story is good enough to where we would auto-buy a sequel or want more of the author’s work.

How to Submit Your Book

Communication

We will communicate with authors throughout the process, providing them with any updates or circumstances that either slow or stop me from doing their reviews on time.

We will also send a link to the completed review via email.

Once a review is paid for and we start reading your book, it is NON-REFUNDABLE!

We pride ourselves on finishing what we start and being a magazine of integrity. Whatever date we provide to the author for a review is the date that review will be completed without fail and without exception.

Special Note: if you email us within 24 hours of paying for the review, we will send you a full refund.
